THE SANCHEZ FAMILY

Hello family and friends,

Well, we have now entered the blog family. Many of our friends in Michigan who also travelled abroad used this as it was easier. Well see how it goes. Things are finally getting done this week. I finally got the internet, yeah!!, hopefully my dryer comes, and my oven is supposed to be fixed today. Today I went to a presentation at the kids school. It was really wonderful. The kids marched, sang the national anthem, some classes did a theatrical production, other read poetry, Justins class did a dance. Adriana's class didn't participate in this one. Justin did such a great job. I didn't know however, that he would be dancing this morning. They said to put something mexicano on so Jorge bought him some little hat to wear. It would have been better if he had worn something "Mariachi" but we didn't know. It was great to seem him dance a traditional dance of Mexico.

They will be offering Irish dance at the school but I don't know if it will be too easy for Adriana. We'll see what happens. Hopefully Justin will decided to take soccer as it might help him to relax and get rid of some of the stress of school. As I mentioned before the kids have exams next week. We know the kids will excel in the English part, but who knows what will happen on the spanish part.

Jorge leaves Sunday night for the north of Mexico. He will return Monday night. His work seems to be going well, but they are now doing construction in front of his work, so he has to take a taxi to work for a while. What a pain, but there are a million around here.

My wood furniture came yesterday. I bought 3 bar stools, a little table for the microwave and a table for the entrance. They turned out nice and it's something different as it is typical of some Mexican furniture. Beleive it or not, just two houses over from us, 4 guys from the U.S. that work for Jorge's company just moved in. We might be seeing a rainbow mat out before long if you know what I mean.

We met with bishop this week. He said that people have already asked for us for callings. We don't know what they are yet. I hope I can do okay with mine as it still can be intimidating speaking in Spanish all the time.

Well we love you lots. Hope all of you are doing well. Take care and keep in touch.
